Lucky Dice Games is a fantastic local spot for tabletop enthusiasts! The space is thoughtfully organized — every area is used strategically to create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. While the in-store play space is somewhat limited, the secondary play area makes a huge difference and gives plenty of room for events. Customer service here is top-notch. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the owner, Houston, is absolutely amazing — kind, passionate, and dedicated to creating a great experience for everyone who walks in the door. If you’re into HeroClix, this is ✨THE✨ place to play in Huntsville, and one of the best shops in North Alabama for Gundam kits and builds. A must-visit for anyone who loves gaming or model building!
My wife and I visited this place recently. We had some questions about Magic the Gathering since we a new. The two guys here were super helpful and answered our questions. It was also a cool hangout space and had a good amount of people playing. If anyone is looking for a place to get into Magic the Gathering or other games like DND, we would highly recommend this place.
Going to be completely honest my girlfriend and I came in Friday night. We just moved in this area so we were looking for a local card shop and this place popped up. We walked in and we got some looks like we weren’t supposed to be in there tbh lol.(ofcourse that’s not the actual shops fault) we are big into Pokemon so we looked around for Pokemon they didn’t have much Pokemon besides packs that were way over market price for example white flare at the moment is at 8.80 and they had them for 14.99 and had a small selection of singles on the wall and a bunch of bulk. I understand we could have just came in at a bad time before a restock but almost having nothing besides things that are over market and the kinda unwelcoming we aren’t in the circle vibe kinda put a bad taste in both our mouths.
The store is small and becomes crowded easily, but there is so much stock and things to look at that it's always a great experience. The owner and his mother that runs the store are absolute sweet hearts, but with only the two of them you may have to wait a bit for your order. They have a website with live inventory of all of their stock and you can place online orders. But be aware that they do not know about the order unless you call ahead and inform them that you placed an online order. I placed an online order unaware of this and was not informed until I arrived at the shop and informed them of my online order placement, luckily it was only about 5 cards so it was an easy pull. Mythic is a great place to go for more unique items that aren't always in store like old pre-cons for mtg, but with so much inventory they aren't always able to find it right away. While I was there I was informed they had an old pre-con I was looking for and I was quite surprised, but they weren't able to locate it while I was there and offered to take my number down and text me when they are able to locate it.
