As a resident of Leadville and a previous co-owner of a toy store, I decided to bring my love for kids and community to my home town. Once the ideal space became available, I knew it was meant to be. I couldn’t have done it alone, but with the help of my family, Rocky Top Toys & Gifts is now open on Harrison Ave. in Leadville, CO. The best part of finding Smetch Rat is that I found a community that is inclusive and supportive. We as a family enjoy participating in the Magic the Gathering, D&D, table top games, miniature games, and many other events. In our house it is simply “The Club” where we will go to see friends and socialize with others who enjoy gathering and playing a variety of different games.
