My son has been going to this place for several years. It on the first floor of a large house. There’s a large parking lot next to it. There’s always a group of players in there. My son plays yugi oh there. The owners seemed like friendly guys who love what they do. They have a main play area and also another area in the back but with a low ceiling. It’s a great place for a bunch of guys who enjoy playing their card games. I recommend this place which is local in Bergen county.
This is kind of a weird thing to articulate, but I went here with my partner before it was Top Deck Games and let me tell you - this place reeked. At several points I wanted to turn to him and just say.. let’s escape, I can’t breathe through the funk. We have since came back and I am happy to announce, it doesn’t smell anymore and the selection is better. The downside? It feels much more corporate and kind of awkward/uncomfortable. They also removed their loose cards to sort through which was kind of my jam. I do like their aquarium tank filled with dice though, we fell for that hook, line, and sinker the first time we came in after changing ownership. We will likely be back and probably shrug our shoulders and say we definitely were there.
Went to buy another card storage bin that locks ontop and you can stack them ontop of each other. They come with sorting tabs and you can purchase extras. Store is larger on the inside and has a bunch of D&D/Warhammer paints for your minis. Loads of cards from different trading card games and plushies. Pretty much has stuff for just about everyone. Highly suggest coming here for your gaming needs if you're in the area.
PLEASE STOP DO NOT COME HERE TOTAL RIPP OFFF they scammed me and sold me an old controller with no charger and i know they wont refund me after i tried too return some pokemon cards that weren't tournament legal. now im stuck with two products i dont want and they have my money. i waited all week to go and buy a bad controller. this place always lets me down dont waste your time!
