My old roommate comes back to Bham only a few times a year. We were looking for activities to do while he was back for the summer and decided to try to get through a bunch of games from our board game collections. Problem was, he was staying at his folks' place that was a little cramped for space atm and my partner and I have a dog who isn't too fond of visitors. Well, Aegis was the solution. A fun, chill spot to reignite our passion for the tabletop and board game hobby. We played here virtually every weekend over the summer and several weekdays to boot. It was great. Great staff. Super cozy and friendly vibe. Tons of games and paints and miniatures. Can't recommend highly enough.

First time here and I have to say this place is well organized and has a great assortment of books for anyone into comic books. I was very impressed by there Marvel omnibus selection. Our son spent quite some time there going through the different sections. He was very overwhelmed with all that was offered. If you are a comic book fan, you have to stop by and check this store out.

They also have a Tech Repair Guy behind the counter that has an AMAZING head of hair that you’ll just want to stare at for hours. Ryno's is an amazing card store. They have an amazing selection of sports cards if that is what you are looking for, but they do have some hidden gems among the shelves. I personally collect Pokémon cards and they consistently have Pokémon on their shelves unlike retail stores as of right now. Not just that, their prices are so much more affordable and closer to market compared to other local card shops. I am so glad that my husband and I had come across this store and after the first time we stepped inside we knew this was going to be the spot we would go to when we are looking for packs or singles. The environment feels very relaxed and welcoming. As for the guys that work there? The owner, Ryan is so kind, generous, and very helpful. And his right hand man Bailey is also very kind, generous, and helpful. And they are both so patient...especially when your husband is staring at a Blaine's Charizard for what feels like forever and a day. 😉 We will always come back to this shop for any and all of our Pokémon needs.
