There is no way you will leave disappointed. This is a fanboy paradise. Plenty of retro and current pop culture collectibles. Not just Star Wars and DC collections but plenty of horror genre stuff too. Back issue comic bins for those seeking an elusive missing comic from their collection. Disney statues for your little princesses and monster figures for your little gremlins. Lastly, owners Larry and his wife are great people and they tend to employ nice folk as well. What they do for the Magnolia Park area cannot be measured. Put on your favorite Godzilla shirt and go have fun... or in this case, a blast!

Fun spot for retro games and events! Maggie, who was working when we stopped in, was eager to help and happy to talk shop. The store layout makes it easy to browse and they have just about everything laid out so it's easy to see. Prices are marked on the box / cartridge and they also keep accessories and plushies for folks who like those. Their selection was pretty solid and had a fair bit of popular titles including modern games. They didn't have anything remarkably rare when we were there, but Maggie was really helpful in recommending other stores which might have the titles we were looking for. Overall, great customer service and their involvement with the local gaming / fandom community is awesome to see

Easily THE best place in LA to find or host a D&D game. The space is constantly expanding, they’ve had full on Magic tournaments happening and you’d never know it from your game space. They also have a huge selection of board games available to play with your friends whenever you like. Show up, pick a game, and play. The staff is super helpful and their stock is well priced and extensive. Their in-house $8 dice sets are some of the nicest I’ve ever seen south of $50. Do yourself a favor and stop in, even if just to peek in at the private game rooms. This place is a treasure.

Halo 13 is a unique store that, over the last 13 years, has specialized in bringing a plethora of collectibles to our customers.

The spot is a nice location and has a good atmosphere but man are the cards (Pokemon) are priced over market. Went in today with the intention of buying a few graded cards but noticed the stickers were way above market. Same is true about the raw singles and sealed product. Not every card is over priced but a decent amount were. Probably won’t go back to this card shop for a while. While they have a large assortment of products make sure you check recent sales so that you’re not overpaying for items. Also cash is not king at this location anymore. The shop might be better off removing all their stickers and pricing the cards off the current market with how volatile cards have been this year. Again buyer beware, look up prices before making your purchase because many cards have started declining and likely will continue to do so over the next few months.
