First time here was a great experience. A taller gentleman with glasses assisted me and was super helpful and pleasant. Second time was not so great…a shorter male working the counter who seemed to be around 20-24 years of age was rude and disrespectful. This caught me off guard as my first experience was great! It is saddening to drive over an hour and a half to visit a card shop just for an employee to behave unsatisfactory. I still highly recommend this shop for the selection and helpfulness (depending upon who is working).
Some stuff is great on prices and some of it is not. I was looking for some game cube games. They had a couple but you have to look up your own price on their kiosk. While 2 guys were over there, doing nothing and I tried to ask them to help me. Cuz , i'm not very great with looking up stuff on a computer. They did not help me. All they kept talking about was cards and we're just standing there. So when I did finally find the price , I said I like to get those two games cause they're $8.99 each on the computer says it is. So they took both games up there and told me they were going to cost over $38 and I said so should be around $20 something because of actually taxes, he said no. No, those are loose copies with no books Or no boxes for that price. So I just told them to keep the games and I walked out. They've got to learn to be better on pricing and actually help people rather than talking about cards and not helping the customers. God I hate being one of those people that complain but they've got to do better.
They always take care of my RC needs. If I have questions about set-up or will this work with my car the answer is always "Lets found out". Great selcection of Armma and Traxxas products in store as well as parts. Treated the way you should be treated from a local business, they will get almost all my purchase dollars for my hobby.

Joah and Joni run a great little shop in the heart of Johnson City. There aren't many people as passionate about gaming and as open to sharing that passion than Joah. They run great events and the community that comes to Outpost is one of the best in the area. Always someone playing a game of something and willing to let you join in.
