This is an amazing place that feels like you’re hanging out with friends in a cozy basement. The owners are super nice and friendly that have developed a very welcoming community no matter what type of hobby or table top gaming you’re into. Their warhammer people are all super nice and willing to help and play anyone from new to the game to competitive play. The build nights that are put on at this store every other Friday’s are an absolute joy to go to with people building Gundam, warhammer products to custom 3d prints and even legos. All hobby’s are encouraged and so many people are there to offer help if it comes to building or painting even advice on tools and parts to make your project that much better. Also Bits & Bobs offers a retro game night that is some of the funniest times with great nostalgic feelings. There is also a huge selection of manga selection of books available.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel welcome. What's even better is they are priced more competitively than Amazon AND IT'S LOCAL! They have a wide array of comics across all the minor and major publishers, a fairly large selection of tabletop game figurines and their associated supporting materials, and a few trading card game packs like Pokémon & Magic The Gathering. I've already been back 3 times now and will certainly be returning again to get my comic book fix!
The best part of finding Smetch Rat is that I found a community that is inclusive and supportive. We as a family enjoy participating in the Magic the Gathering, D&D, table top games, miniature games, and many other events. In our house it is simply “The Club” where we will go to see friends and socialize with others who enjoy gathering and playing a variety of different games.

The staff is all friendly and happy to see you. They always go out of their way to ensure customers have a great experience.
