Parents beware, they WILL try to scam you. Make sure you do your due diligence. Many of the packs were priced at double what you would find anywhere else. Nice selection of single cards, but incredibly scummy owner. Went in and asked about the price of a card. The owner said that he uses TCGPlayer for valuation. I asked why his card was 50% over the TCGPlayer price then, and he said "You're not gonna find this card anywhere else". Yeah okay, sure. Then my friend picked out some lower-rarity cards out of the "bargain bin" which were over FOUR TIMES market price. I would absolutely not give this place my business. Support honest businesses instead. EDIT: Since the owner replied to save face, I would like to clarify a few things. The rest of the staff was indeed friendly and helpful and I thank them for that. However, the boss clearly wants to rake people over the coals. I am very experienced in the Pokémon market, and while it is indeed ridiculous right now, this store is charging far above already-insane market rates. Higher rates than scalpers, double or more in some cases ($25 for a single pack of 151 for example, market rate is $11).

If you’re looking for tabletop wargaming in Grand Rapids then this is the place. Far Harbor is probably Grand Rapids best kept gaming secret. A small and cozy gaming space with plenty of hobby and play space. Whether you come by every week or once every other month the gamers there welcome you like an old friend. The owner, Jesse, cares deeply for the local gaming community and it shows in the frequency and quality of events Far Harbor puts on. As a Grand Rapids local I highly recommend checking this place out.

Stopped in for some Lorcana play with a couple buddies and our friends who wanted to watch and the shop was clean, fresh, stocked, and the staff were beyond friendly. Offering their display console for one of the kids who was forced along. They have a great stock of Pokemon singles both graded and ungraded. A small but great selection of plushies. Would love to see them get more of the pokemon sitting cuties, and the pokemon bag hangers. Something I think they also should add are gachapan :3 would love some small priced stuff for when ya just need to crack something cute. I will absolutely be returning as they gave us permission to host a weekly Card games and chill on Sundays! So happy to have found a nice large play space with nice staff.

They only have one kiosk for looking through their inventory, and the employee at the counter was more interested in the anime playing on his computer than helping people in the line, for said kiosk, that was starting to form and wrap around the aisles. Sure, you could use their website to place an order, but their WIFI requires you to give them your email and download an app. They charge a premium for inferior service. Also, the custom commander banlist that they created is really stupid, and feels like the owner's personal vendetta against playstyles that he doesn't like.
