DO NOT COME HERE!! Be aware!! This place would NOT exist without a crew of heavily addicted regulars to fund it. You will be very tempted to buy as this is the only store in the general area with consistent Pokemon inventory. However, owner is struggling and he prices his product to pay rent instead of pricing to sell and bring in customers. It’s genuinely sad seeing things like a Battle Partners booster box still being sold for $180, or a 151 Booster Bundle being sold for $90 when they weren’t even THAT expensive upon release let alone resale at its absolute highest. Places like this are the problem with this hobby and people like this owner are why so many long time loyalists are getting out of it. Oh, and looking to sell? Be prepared to turn around and walk back out because you’ll get the most insulting counter offer you’ve ever heard in your life. 0/5 stars if I could.
Cody was great in helping me get what I need to build a couple of Pokemon decks . It was nice to see a store that takes pride in organizing their inventory for those who have a tough time finding singles at local game stores. A lot of places just only care about the expensive stuff for those who collect. I’m happy they’re a store that caters to those who like to play the game for fun.

The people there are very nice and welcoming, the selection is decent but the pricing and customer loyalty is questionable. The Pokemon hobby is getting out of hand these days with the price gouging and I know that the prices are higher than normal everywhere but they don’t have to be. I am willing to pay over retail but I watched ETB’s go from $60 to $160 in a couple of months, that’s insane. I know the owners can argue that their cost has risen but what is the excuse on product that has been there since the beginning of the craze? Your distributor raised prices 3x? As a business owner I know at the end of the day it is a business and I am willing to pay over retail but marking up product 3x is just greed.

I’ve seen this shop and its owners in action before they ever opened here, so nothing about my experience came as a surprise. Back in Jasper, they were clearing out stock from our local store even though they already had their own distribution by sending their daughter to grab as much as possible under the guise of “it’s for the kids.” Once people connected the dots that it was going straight into their own inventory, the trust was gone. When I stopped by their shop, I was hoping maybe the actual store would show a different side. Instead, it felt like exactly what we had already seen: a bare minimum setup designed to profit off the current hype with no real connection to the community. In Jasper, we let them cut in line thinking we were doing a good deed for a family, only to watch a kid trained to sweep every product in sight while the parents smiled and misled people about why they were there. That is not just bad etiquette, it is the opposite of the integrity you would want from anyone in this hobby, especially someone trying to run a grading company. And by the way, Hayden is one of the people who you are saying is “harassing” you? But he was there that day, and there were at least five others you personally interacted with. So pretending you do not know us now is just laughable.
