This card shop uses market pricing for new releases, which in the card world, is boosted by scalpers and terrible online buying practice (Wizards, et em). Since I have never owned a card shop, I don't want to bash this card store specifically, because most do it, but I wish it wasn't true. Local card stores are the consumers access point to the product we all love and cherish. In my mind, at least sell products to your local enthusiasts at MSRP for a few weeks before jacking prices up. Local people support your store and community, support them too. I hope the card market can reshape itself.

Store's pretty cool, staff is usually pretty nice! Prices suck though. I came for Warhammer (which I was told is a small scene at this store and something they're trying to grow) but some stuff is like 20% over MSRP. Came once or twice to play some games and the staff was really cool. Then for some reason at the end of one night the employees decided to inform us that they actually charge hourly for use of their tables (which are pretty awful - even compared to nearby stores), and was honestly pretty rude about the fact that we hadn't yet, even though it had never been like that before. How is the scene gonna grow if you're gonna charge $5 an hour for a game that usually takes somewhere between 3 - 5 hours to play, on tables that are 3 times worse than a store that does it for free 5 minutes down the road? Not to mention the tables are so deserted they literally used it to prop up promo for a Pokemon card series so it's not like they're sought after.

This place is AWESOME!!!!! Super friendly people and they are all very helpful. We were there for quite awhile and I never heard anyone complaining about customers or their job. The selection of toys is very impressive and I love the prices. I can't wait to go back and see what goodies they will have next time. Going to my Lego loving friends about Time Warp Toys... Sorry about your shield, hopefully it wasn't to big a fix..
Ok so this is a bit of a long one but Larry at Titan took such good care of me and My son I absolutely had to write a rave review for him. First off. We are out of towners who were here in Bedford/Mitchell visiting family. Being pokemaniacs, me and my 5 year old stopped in to see what was what. Accessories and bulk selection were awesome, singles were great too, we immediately identified a gengar vmax I needed for my Gastly, Haunter, Gengar master set collection. It was priced well below market and in excellent shape. While I was looking my son locked onto a “slabby patty” Rayquaza V (CGC graded oversized card) in a 9 error (there is what is called a printer hickey on it). We are not big graded card buyers so normally I wouldn’t have bought it. However Larry saw my son’s excitement and offered us a killer deal on it I couldn’t pass up! I think shows what a great guy he is and what a great guy the owner must be to allow such greatness as too many owners are stingy and looking to gouge. So we bought the rayquaza, the Gengar vmax and at least a set of dice (there may have been other stuff but it was a few days ago). I asked him to hold a RioLu illustration Rare and a mega alakazam for me for a few days until I could bring in our binders to trade/sell some cards to purchase those. He happily agreed and when I came back a few days later he gave me excellent pricing on my cards I was selling, had the cards I asked him to hold ready and even when we were a few dollars off he just said that’s good (a massive sign of a great Pokemon vendor). If I lived here this would be the only place I would swear by. These guys deserve all the praise and I can’t wait to swing in every time we are in Mitchell visiting the fam!

A very nice game store in Champaign, IL! They're well stocked with the latest CCGs, RPGs, and miniature games. I was especially impressed to see Warhammer the Old World decently stocked! They store also has some old stock tucked away here and there. I found an old Aerotech rulebook - super cool! Highly recommended for locals gamers and gamers on vacation too!
