They purchase up entire restocks of product from local stores when they restock. Even coming all the way to Detroit Lakes to purchase every single Prismatic Evolution they had on release day. Maybe don’t tell the employees that you’re buying them for your specific card store that you own in Fargo, lol. Their way to “combat” resellers is charging what resellers do.. there are many ways that they could offer products at retail to collectors that other stores have been successful doing, but they’d rather not. I used to frequent this store in 2017-2018, prices were reasonable and I even purchased membership cards for three years in a row. Now, it’s just a way to scalp products while disguising itself as something “good for the community”. Last time I went there, I told myself I would never go back. The employees were young and didn’t even offer to help as we were standing at the counter. They were too busy looking at some random guys collection binder instead of helping customers. I haven’t been back since. Very disappointing as I spent a lot of money there at one point when they actually cared and had employees who helped the people who keep them in business. It’s truly a slap to the face to true collectors and their long-time customers.

Ken’s Comic – Great Local Spot for Collectors and Gamers Ken’s Comic was pretty well-organized and had a solid setup. They had a wide variety of comics and a great selection of card games like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball, and more. There’s a small snack area, kind of like a concession stand, which is a nice touch if you’re hanging out for a while. It also looks like they host tournaments and game nights, which makes it a cool community spot for both casual players and more serious fans. Overall, a fun stop if you’re into comics, trading cards, or just want to explore a friendly local shop!

Kitsap comics and games have amazing staff here that are always polite, respectful and knowledgeable on any sorts of questions you have, along with very fair pricing and product availability. I personally love shopping here for Marvel Legends figures and they never disappoint, usually in the 25-35 dollar range. I cannot recommend them enough and am so grateful to have them as a local vendor :)

Very well stocked store! I was especially impressed by their selection of roleplaying games but don't get me wrong, they've got a huge selection of board games as well. The staff was very friendly and patient and were more than happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. We were just stopping in on our way through to see other sights but if I lived anywhere nearby I'd be in here every paycheck to pick something up. Really impressed, and will try and be back to actually patronize them next time. Thank you for the experience!
This a REALLY nice and cozy shop with a few game rooms and a really diverse product line covering all of the most popular current games. That being said, Nick, our salesperson, was CLEARLY passionate about gaming and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! Although we visited all of the must-see DnD spots in town, this was the most memorable! Beware if purchasing any good sealed products from website. Lou canceled my order claiming they were already sold. A few days later they were relisted for a higher price. Its sad when you see unethical practices from long time shops. Makes you wonder how much stuff they do that people don't catch. This is the second time its happened to me. Both times it was from a product that was trending up. Greed plain and simple. Just know this going in if you choose to do business with them. If/when they reply with a spin on this review, know that everything I put is 100% factual. I normally just let this kind of stuff roll off and don't worry about it. But after he did it to me twice I wanted to make future customers aware. I also waited to see what his response was after his last email. After pointing out how unethical his practices were he stopped responding. So keep that in mind with whatever response he adds to this review trying to make himself look better. Do better Lou. Have some integrity and treat your people right.
