Effective October 29, 2025, George Suarez, the founder and owner of New England Comics, Inc. will be retiring from the business, having sold his interests to Tom Yee and Ralph Blaser. Starting with a "hole in the wall" 500sf store in 1983 in Quincy Center, George and his co-owner Henry Scagnoli (who retired several years ago) built "NEC" into the largest and best-known comic store chain in New England. At its peak, NEC had 11 stores, including two in Tampa, Florida.

Have recently gone into this place, was met with pleasant service. However, the games prices are higher than what they are typically going for, ranging from $10 to $15 dollars more than what they are worth. Don't want to discourage people from buying from this store, but learn about the games you are looking for and how much they're suppose to be and compare to their prices and use your judgment if it's worth spending the additional dollars or not. I paid for game that's $10 more than how much it should've been and if I had known that I honestly would've looked else where.
Brett and his crew at 'off the wall games' are the pinnacle of representation to the world of RPG gaming!!! Their knowledge, friendliness, and love of the games cannot be matched! Every Wednesday they have (correct me if I'm wrong Brett). Open table night and NONE of their tables have FEE's! Store is clean with a very large selection of models for DND, WH 40K, other games and accessories. One of the largest selections of model paints, brushes, medium's, primers, hell they even have airbrushes (one brand for now but still!). From one gamer to another this store is HIGHLY recommended for your gaming needs!
