Went in for the first time over the weekend and found this to be a great card shop. Nice inventory of pokemon and sports cards. They also have magic and one piece. The owner is super cool and willing to go the extra mile to find it it's not in the shop. I asked for a fairly expensive card and with-in 24 hours he had it in his hands! Tatertot Comics and Collectibles feels like stepping into a geeky treasure chest, watched over by friendly NPCs. If Smaug had a collection of Pokémon cards and Magic: The Gathering singles instead of gold, this would be it. Looking for comics? They have a huge selection, from affordable reads to pristine collector copies that seem to beg, “protect me in mylar.” The Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering inventory is incredible, with singles and sealed products. It’s as if Professor Oak and Jace Beleren teamed up to create a store. D&D players, celebrate! The miniatures selection is so vast it feels like they accidentally looted a wizard’s workshop. Need books or source material? They likely have the tome that can bring your entire campaign back to life or help you craft a new multiverse. And let’s not forget the play area; it’s large enough to host Friday Night Magic and the occasional goblin uprising. They are organizing events like Pokémon Trade Nights and Trivia nights, so whether you're a lore expert or a meme enthusiast, there’s something for you. In brief, if Tatertot Comics and Collectibles were an item, it would be Legendary Tier with +5 to Charisma and Community Engagement. I highly recommend visiting.
Stopped in while visiting Branson from Colorado. Super friendly staff! We were greeted warmly when we entered and all of our questions answered with enthusiasm. Their selection of MTG singles were not just robust but impeccably organized (nice for a quick stop and you can’t stay long). We bought a few single cards and were pleased to find they sleeved and packed into a top loader for us very securely! Absolutely top-notch experience from knowledgeable staff. Plan to stop here every time we make it out to Branson.
Fantastic shop! You can tell whoever runs the store is extremely OCD and keeps things very organized and rotates the inventory around to draw your eyes exactly where they should go. Fair prices, nice employees. Is the store the craziest with insane inventory of a bunch of out of print items and crazy stuff that you've never seen before? No. But the prices and how streamlined the store is to find what you want completely make up for that. Good stuff, I wish there was a store like this for every hobby I have. Very impressive for how new the store is and I hope the companies that allocate the amount of stuff certain stores get access to let this guy get a bunch of stuff and access to the best stuff for the community to strive.
