This is your traditional fantasy shop with paints and minis, board games, comics, and tables for tcgs and Warhammer. Everyone inside was friendly, and they had some fantastic props up on the walls to really stand out. I found it to be clean and well maintained. If you live nearby, definitely consider making it your local game shop.

The staff is a very friendly and welcoming bunch of gamers. I always learn a lot from them and find their inventory to be well-organized, making it easy to find what I'm looking for. They also have some decent connections—if they can't buy something from your collection, they often know someone who can. This is a big plus if you're looking to sell some cards to pick up new ones.
We're visiting from out of town and this place was absolutely breathtaking, from a good selection of products to super friendly staff, and even a friendly community. They also had a big play space and didn't feel cramped whatsoever. Whether visiting or are a local, I would highly recommend at least checking the place out!
Don't sell scratched games unless your willing to waste time. This place may be excellent for buying stuff, but not so much for selling stuff. Went here to sell PS2 games since mine didn't work. They only took 2 games and gave me $1 for it. YOU CALL THIS SELLING!? Give your games to DKOldies and not these guys.
They have a good selection of unopened packs, ETBs, etc. but mainly because they charge scalper prices even on just released sets (so not only do you pay scalper prices but you pay tax on them as well) not a super great selection on single cards either. My main gripe is that they charge a credit card fee on top of all of that even if you spend hundreds at their store in a single purchase. So you have scalper prices, taxes, then a credit card fee and that gives you your extremely bloated and overpriced total.
Gamers Getaway KC is a wonderful local cards and hobbies store our family loves to support! The owners and staff are friendly, and truly care about the local gaming community through supporting a variety of games, hosting dozens of events monthly, and getting to know their customers! While I am not always able to get out and support the store, when I can be there the environment is welcoming and the community is supportive. Plus we've pull some amazing Star Wars Unlimited cards!
