Gamers Getaway KC

Gamers Getaway KC is a wonderful local cards and hobbies store our family loves to support! The owners and staff are friendly, and truly care about the local gaming community through supporting a variety of games, hosting dozens of events monthly, and getting to know their customers! While I am not always able to get out and support the store, when I can be there the environment is welcoming and the community is supportive. Plus we've pull some amazing Star Wars Unlimited cards! Gamers Getaway KC will always have my business and friendship!

I've been supporting Todd & this shop for 2+ years, it's been a treat to see the well-deserved growth! I genuinely can't think of another local business who deserves as much praise as this team. They do everything the right way. I've watched them relocate from a much smaller space to their new spot, some of the growing pains, challenges they've gone through. Never once did I feel the folks here let those challenges impact their customer service & how they treat the community. Community comes first, and you can feel it based on the good vibes that persist here. Events are hosted near daily, product is readily available, fairly priced, and I've never once felt like they've tried to take advantage of me. If you're looking for a new spot to play TCGs, join a new community, or simply buying product at fair prices, then this is the place for you. I can't recommend Gamers Getaway KC enough

I've been a customer at the old shop and now this new shop for a while now. Todd and all the staff are fantastic. Todd started this shop as a way of getting affordable products in the real collectors hands, instead of charging way too much for things that shouldn't be that expensive. The shop itself is very welcoming to both returning customers and new ones and you can tell this is a labor of love. They've always looked out for the local community, if you play or just collect Pokemon, Magic, plus lots of other TCGs. They're also trying to push new TCGs as well that aren't available at a lot of other stores around town. I have and will continue to support this store for as long as I can because they really deserve it for being so awesome to the community. Thank you for being awesome!!!
