I've been a regular weekly player at this store since 2018. They are simply the best in the state when it comes to singles, tournaments and friendly staff. They also have a very underrated boardgame selection. The main reason I wanted to leave a review is to address another review left by an anonymous user who had an issue with a yugioh judge James Nyguen. James is a VERY kind and patient person and its upsetting to me that the owner removed him from his position as a Judge to some spineless internet troll who essentially was using his review for leverage to get what he wants. Not only did Shanes proceed to remove him from the position which he absolutely deserved to be in, they left a one star review when they admitted in the same review it is not accurate and they "love the store". They also said they would change it to a 5 star review if he got what he wanted. Well I waited two months before leaving this comment because I didnt want it to be viewed as drama or inflammatory. To no ones surprise that review is still up and is still reflecting a one star review. Shane, Becky, Tom and anyone else who was involved in that decision, please reconsider James as a head judge. As a business owner myself I would be more than happy to help encourage other players to leave positive reviews that are deserved so you are not subject to the extreme vocal minority who obviously don't care about your business. We are lucky to have a very community driven card shop! The Shop has amazing space for you to come down and play MTG, Pokémon, and any RPG with your friends. Very friendly staff that provide helpful tips. I recently purchased my Ur-Dragon with their easy to use and accurate online store! I will always check their inventory first before buying anywhere else and you should too!
Online sales are an absolute joke here. Trying to buy over 1,000$ in books for nursing school. Black Friday sale advertisement says 20% off site wide. Took me forever to find terms and exclusions after coupon didn't work. What do ya know...false advertising. Course materials excluded in this sale. Their website also offers 10% off your entire purchase for signing up. Tried to use this coupon and again no luck. On the coupon it says "shop online for course materials, supplies, technology, and more." Here were the terms for this coupon: "This coupon can be redeemed for 10% off your purchase. Offer not valid on textbooks, course materials, diploma frames, laptops, tablets, technology, regalia, Apple products or gift cards. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer and excludes clearance merchandise."
My wife and I went in today to celebrate our anniversary and were very satisfied with our experience! They have a good variety of board games, as well as D&D guides, Warhammer 40K guides, Magic Cards and some cool dice sets among other things. The man that rang us up even gave us a free booster of Magic when they didn't have enough of the set that my wife wanted, so we got 6 set boosters for the price of 5!
