The Miner Theatre is a family-friendly classic movie theatre located in beautiful downtown Ladysmith, Wisconsin. We feature evening shows and weekend matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Opening in 1948, the Miner Theatre is one of the few single screen movie houses left in Wisconsin that is still showing first run movies in an original 1940s atmosphere, with the presentation of digital sound and sight. Designed by premiere theatre architects of the day, Liebenberg and Kaplan, the Miner was the flagship of the Miner Amusement Co. and featured many luxuries of the time, such as, a sunken lounge, heated sidewalk, box sections, stadium seating, specialized acoustics, and air conditioning.

Repeatedly have not honored their buylist prices or listed sale prices for singles. They price their sealed products 10+% over market. Not MSRP, market. If they honored buylist this might be fine but you cannot have your website say you will pay 60-75% for something, then offer under 50% in person while turning around to sell similar items at a 110-120%. That's convention vendor levels of nonsense. Also heard two employees bad mouthing a customer just a few minutes after they had left because they didn't want to sell their singles for such a low price. Go literally anywhere else if you want to buy or sell cards.

For any gamer in Madison, this place is a cornerstone of our community, a feeling that hits you the moment you walk in and see the incredible Magic: The Gathering card mosaic on the wall and the tables ready for the next adventure. The staff aren't just employees; they are fellow fans who greet you with genuine warmth, ready to geek out over everything from the latest Warhammer release to their incredible wall of board games. It's the little moments of pure joy you find here that make it so special. On my last visit, I couldn't resist picking up a "Mystery Dice & Pin" bag. The simple thrill of opening it up to discover a gorgeous set of purple dice and a quirky, instantly-loveable black cat pin was the highlight of my day. It’s that feeling—the magic of discovery and the delight in the details—that Mox Mania provides in spades. This place is more than just shelves stacked with games; it’s a vital hub where friendships are made and campaigns begin. We are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful, welcoming sanctuary for our hobby right here. It's an easy 5 stars, and I'll be back again and again.
