Miner Theatre
The Miner Theatre is a family-friendly classic movie theatre located in beautiful downtown Ladysmith, Wisconsin. We feature evening shows and weekend matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Opening in 1948, the Miner Theatre is one of the few single screen movie houses left in Wisconsin that is still showing first run movies in an original 1940s atmosphere, with the presentation of digital sound and sight. Designed by premiere theatre architects of the day, Liebenberg and Kaplan, the Miner was the flagship of the Miner Amusement Co. and featured many luxuries of the time, such as, a sunken lounge, heated sidewalk, box sections, stadium seating, specialized acoustics, and air conditioning.

Customer Reviews
While visiting family recently, we stopped in to see the new Minecraft movie. We are not locals so I truly enjoyed the nostalgia of the theater. It would be so wonderful to see some of it updated but still keeping with the old feel (if that makes sense). We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. Such a neat place! And the popcorn was great 😉
