The Geek Shack is the only place in Southern New Mexico where TCGs (Trading Card Games) and tabletop games are the main event. This place is always bustling with events and activities. On my last visit, they were hosting a Magic the Gathering tournament. They have an extensive collection of Pokémon cards at very competitive prices!!!! If you have questions or need advice, every staff member is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely loves their job. If you are just starting, or a seasoned veteran or looking to sell your cards, this is the only location in the Las Cruces and surrounding area. Check out their Facebook and social media pages for times of the next event. They have plenty of tables for very large groups.

Super gamers is the best game store I've ever been to. Period. They've got some real hidden gems at this place and I can't wait to come back. They've even got some newer games and consoles for sale! The people working here are kind and super knowledgeable. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices are! Usually older games fetch a pretty penny, especially online, but here I felt like not only was I getting a deal but I'm also supporting a local business. I love it here!

At Zia Comics, we’re more than just a comic book store—we’re a vibrant hub for pop culture lovers, gamers, collectors, and geeks of all kinds. Founded with a deep passion for comics, creativity, and community, Zia Comics has grown into a premier destination for all things nerdy in the Southwest. Zia Comics was founded in 2012 with one clear mission: to bring together fans of comics, gaming, and pop culture in a space that feels like home. What started as a small local shop in Las Cruces, New Mexico quickly grew into a thriving center for fandom, thanks to the support of an amazing community and a team dedicated to spreading the love of geek culture. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings, hosted countless events, and proudly supported the growth of local artists, writers, and gamers. We even opened a second location in Alamogordo to spread pop culture to the other side of the mountains. Our name, inspired by the Zia symbol representing community and harmony, reflects our roots and our commitment to being more than just a store—we’re a family.
