trading card stores have a certain vibe to them. Usually on the smaller side, often smelling of BO from years of customers. I’ve been to the AU Yugioh regionals in Philly over the years and they’ve always been run well. Coming to AU Wilmington felt just the same. Deals table as you walk in. Singles case is priced well with a date listed from when the price was put up. Prices are fair and their selection of sleeves is standard albeit they were out of Dragon Shield Classic Whites when I came in. Top loader provided for free when you purchase cards from the singles case. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. This store having no yugioh locals on weekends was a bit whack but maybe that’s just the player base ? *Realized I reviewed another AU store-accidentally at first * as not from the area

This store has absolutely the worst prices I have ever seen. They have inventory because everything is double. Absolutely trash way to do business when they’re the only card store in the area. Doubling prices on locals. Highly suggest to order online with other sellers.
- Excellent Magic: The Gathering selection, lots of trading card options, box sets, and rare singles. - Small location, think hole in the wall (looking at Google pictures it may have been a bigger location in the past? - unsure honestly). - Lots of great retro games. Lots of Sega Genesis games/including other retro systems, great vintage game selection. Trading card boxes for storage, sleeves, hard cases, anything you would need for trading cards. There was a decent sized area for tabletop/trading card gaming. The one thing I didn't like was when I mentioned I went to other gaming stores in the valley one of the employees mentioned a bad experience about a competitor who I had just visited. However a different employee talked highly of a couple other competitors so it was an interesting hot-take, probably shouldn't be talking down on other local gaming stores is my two cents there. Desert Sky Games does trading cards really well, specifically they had an amazing selection of Magic cards.
About everything I could've hoped for from a local game store. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who care about games. A nice group of people to play with who welcomed me, despite me being new and inexperienced. Good selection of products, and the staff are willing to help special order items for you. They run regular events weekly to bi-weekly that are well worth going to. I've only been going for just over a month and I already feel so comfortable and welcome here. Highly recommended. :)

Nice store. I spent like an hour here, choosing what to get. A huge selection of Pokémon cards, but everything is greatly overpriced. Most sealed products are 2-3X MSRP and some single cards were even 10X market value. However, I recommend looking around because some older sets had a great deal. Overall, nice shop, I recommend a visit)
One of the most amazing and easy experiences I’ve ever experienced in a local card store ! Kevin spoke to us in an effective, respectful, and professional manner while also giving me and my girlfriend an awesome trading deal. This is honestly one of the few stores out there that don’t actively try to scam people out of a passion they have for collecting and trading something that gives them that simple Joy in life and it easily brings me hope and happiness for the future of the trading card community. Went to this shop 2 separate times and left twice with huge hits from packs. This shop has been become our good luck charm. The store was clean items were marked at a reasonable price where other shops mark up the their products alot. Shops is organized and workers are nice. This shop is worth visiting and this is coming from someone that came all the way from San Jose. We are looking forward to visiting next time.
