In 1999 or so (or was it 2001) I went to a writer’s camp and a reader’s camp at csulb. There was a kid at camp who played magic the gathering with me and he bought cards here for me. Not sure if this was the place but those were fun memories. I think that kid’s mother was a professor or something? Anyway he was cool and I’m kind of sad we lost touch (this was pre-facebook and I didn’t have a cell phone). Hope he’s doing well. Thanks for the memories Amazing Comics

I thought the guy in the front was a jerk I guess they are nice to people who want to buy stuff from them but not to people who want to sell it ask questions about something. I am a grandmother that was given a bunch of marvel cards and I don't know much about them ask if he would like to but then it knew if anybody else would or if they were worth anything and he was just like no To every thing I asked rudely .so I don't think he was helpful at all I have them in a folder nice wouldn't even look to see what it was just rude .
Last week, I had a very poor experience at this shop. The staff at amazing comics & cards are rude and completely uninterested in helping customers—if you’re not a regular, expect to be ignored. I was hoping to get a gift for my 7 year-old son as he's a huge fan of the marvel comics, particularly iron man. However, upon looking at some of the prices, I quickly realized that a majority of the items are a total rip-off, with common items marked up to absurd levels. The selection is pretty sparse, mostly junk or damaged goods. When I got back to my car and did some digging online, it seems like the best stuff is apparently hoarded for friends of the workers and owners of the store. This place is a waste of time and money—do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business in a year or two. Anything but "amazing". I don't usually leave reviews but this experience was so striking that I was compelled to do so.
