One of my favorite places ever sense I was a kid. Never had a bad interaction with the person behind the counter, always willing to help(if they can). Will order things for the customers. The atmosphere was always great when I use to join in on fnm. I'm into collecting and painting miniatures nowadays, Hawghead has a decent selection. Plus a good selection of novelty items, so if you wanna buy someone a gift this is a great place to check out. I like to support my local shop when I can. We would absolutely recommend this store to any Pokemon fan. We went in after a bad experience at another store (Bro Show), and man our moods turned around! Prices were right where they should be. They even offered discounted pricing on some of the items if we would at least break the seal on the packs in store in order to prevent scalping. Always a fan of a company wanting to prevent scalping! The gentleman working was super helpful and kind. I wish we had gotten his name; he was the reason we ended up spending more than expected, since it was such a great experience. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will for sure be back. Absolutely come here for your trading card needs!!

If you're looking for minis for your tabletop, look nowhere else in chico. It's a huge selection. Even found cyberpunk red minis, which I purchased all of. Insane amount of really cool board games as well as rpg books. The staff was very friendly and expedient
Heroes Hideout is one of those community staples that wants you to feel welcomed, and will go out of their way to teach you how to play these games. Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic The Gathering, Warhammer 40K, etc. While they're still a business, their priority is you, and they make doggone sure they are able to answer all of your questions, or can point you in the right direction. They're a family-friendly environment that does everything they can to provide fairness to all. They provide purchase limits to sealed products, so that every person has a chance to get in on the fun, and that's wonderful to me. Their prices are completely fair, and are often marked below market price. To the folks who work here, I thank you for the tips, deals, and friendships I've made here. You've given us a place where we can be us as "nerds", and can embrace these wonderful hobbies!

This company is not worth your time. I really want to support them as a local business, but I've had one order ship on time, three that didn't without me having to bug them on Discord, and one of the late ones didn't have all the paint I requested. At that point I just couldn't be bothered to try bugging them further and wrote the paint off. I live 30 minutes drive from this company and I have faster order to my door shipping from games stores in New York. There's no excuse for that when the claim is they ship every Monday/Wednesday/Friday. When the orders do arrive they are well packaged. But that's kind of the only good thing I'll say.
