Heroes Hideout of Sumter

Very clean, organized, and family friendly spot! My family and I always have a good time shopping here for Pokemon or DnD gear. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and being treated so well sets this place apart from other hobby shops. I can't say enough how much we enjoy Heroes Hideout!

Heroes Hideout is one of those community staples that wants you to feel welcomed, and will go out of their way to teach you how to play these games. Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic The Gathering, Warhammer 40K, etc. While they're still a business, their priority is you, and they make doggone sure they are able to answer all of your questions, or can point you in the right direction. They're a family-friendly environment that does everything they can to provide fairness to all. They provide purchase limits to sealed products, so that every person has a chance to get in on the fun, and that's wonderful to me. Their prices are completely fair, and are often marked below market price. To the folks who work here, I thank you for the tips, deals, and friendships I've made here. You've given us a place where we can be us as "nerds", and can embrace these wonderful hobbies!

Well, the place is great. Always a good atmosphere, and people open to play games when you get there. Snack selection definitely helps too whenever you end up staying for a while. Staff here are terrific, and ready to help with any questions. Tony stays ready for the judge rule questions ones for sure. In general they're always very welcome to new and returning customers. As a regular MTG player I see it restocked often with new and more diverse products and sets. Along with other games such as Lorcana, Yugioh, Warhammer, and One piece. Plus they got the accessories too, so you can keep the cards sleeved up and in a deck box. Also have a nice variety of singles to buy as well. As a whole for the store I have no real complaints. It is on a trajectory of getting better and better really. With there even being more regularly scheduled events being held as well. Overall it's a solid establishment that I regularly visit, and gladly tell new people to visit.
