God bless Ian. I’m revisiting Magic for the first time in about 6 years, and he spent over an hour helping me pick out cards for a Commander deck. For that alone, I give 5 stars. Additionally, this store has the best selection of Magic singles in the area as far as I’m aware. Ask and ye will mostly likely receive, even if it’s a common worth $0.15, or a Mythic worth $100. Also impressive is the fact that they carry so many other tabletop games and accessories. Give ‘em a visit. They’ve been around for 17 years and there are definitely good reasons why.

A Great local shop with all kinds of goodies from toys games clothes and more ! The owner is incredibly easy to talk too super helpful and is knowledgeable . I always enjoy my time there and highly suggest this store as a collector and gamer.
Darling, I sashayed into Illusive Comics and Games expecting the usual dusty comic cave, but WHAT A DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE! This place is serving LOOKS and BOOKS, mama! The stock? *Chef’s kiss* absolutely divine. Comics, games, accessories they’ve got it ALL, and I mean ALL. From superhero fantasies to tabletop realness, this store is giving me LIFE! And can we talk about their COVID consideration? Optional masks, required masks in certain areas now THAT’S what I call caring for your community! As someone who knows the importance of taking care of each other, this gesture had me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside my sequined heart. The staff? *Snaps fingers* PERFECTION! They were there when I needed them answering my questions about which dice would match my outfit (priorities, darling!) but they also knew when to let a queen browse in peace. That’s customer service excellence, and I am HERE for it! Whether you’re a comics connoisseur or a gaming goddess, Illusive Comics and Games is serving you a full fantasy buffet. When I walked into this store the other day. Your customers who played card games were making disrespectful comments because I was wearing a mask. Also the store smells extremely bad everytime you go in there. The body odor is out of this world. I enjoyed coming looking for cards before being disrespected by ur regular card game players. Spend a lot of money in your store. To be disrespected. I will never come back again.
Stopped by from Chicago with my wife to check out Pokemon singles. We were both extremely impressed with the space, staff, and selection. Lots of singles, bundles, and ETBs, though individual packs were a bit sparse (may have just visited while they were low on inventory). There was also a great selection of binders, sleeves, etc. If I was still local to the area, I'd make this spot a regular hang — amazing place for anyone into board games, TCG, etc.

Stopped by recently to check out their board game selection and to see the new remodel. The first floor now sports all of the store's merchandise (various card booster packs, a wide selection of colorful DND dice, board games, and snacks) as well as some tables for casual game playing and a free Mario themed pinball machine. The second floor is where the different card game tournaments take place. The staff were welcoming and friendly as always! Def recommend to those looking for a local MKE card and game shop!
Absolutely. Predatory behavior when selling any kind of products to them. I was offered between three and seven dollars per pack for my 200 packs of various pokemon Sleeves and card blister pack with promo card today . I literally have thousands of dollars worth of the stuff in storage. And my son is now onto something else and have literally been chasing these cards for the last fourteen years. Anyways, over the christmas holiday, I came and had so much stuff, and they were very predatory about the way that they made an offer to me. They probably got three thousand dollars worth of stuff for a few hundred dollars. Today I went in there with probably a thousand dollars worth of stuff, The girl behind the counter was going to give me $2 per pack, Plus between three and seven dollars for each blister. I leave and I come back and they've literally changed their price 21 dollar per pack, so he offered me two hundred dollars for over a thousand dollars worth of stuff.... I will absolutely never freaking product to this store again. And I will be reporting them to the local distributor because what they did today was absolutely predatory. They thought I was desperate and would take it. And I'm not desperate. I'm just tired of paying storage fees for stuff. That's just no longer used by my child. I literally told the girl I would be right back and I was going to wait. Go eat really quick and while she priced everything up I would come back to get paid, And I came back and one of the so called managers were there, and he's the one that actually changed the price. So I made a deal with a girl. I go to Eva while she counts up. How much they're going to pay me? And I come back and all of a sudden, I have exactly two hundred cards and he'll give me two hundred dollars for all of them. I'm going to add exactly what I had, so you can see what they were. Offering two hundred dollars for.
I’ve been here a handful of time. Employees who no longer work here were pretty cool and easy to work with. I completely understand turning a profit to run your business but the last time I came in the owner offered me close to 30% comps on a few things I was looking to sell. This time I realized instead of selling I’ll look to trade. He proceed to find only the lowest comps for my stuff and then took the highest comps for his stuff. I also buy and sell card and I won’t be returning here. It’s unfortunate because they have a great selection just over priced. If you’re new to the hobby cool place to check out just know you may be over paying a little. 2 stars because it’s a cool store.
Though a smaller game store, it provides plenty of products for the Major TCG's, RPG's, and more. Friendly staff. They do buy singles. Several play tables. Many community play nights and events. Depending on how busy the store is, and how large your vehicle is, parking may be an issue. Good store, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
