Treasure Hunt Games is hands down one of the best local game stores I’ve ever been to. The owner is awesome—super knowledgeable, passionate about the hobby, and genuinely cares about the community. He’s always gone out of his way to support military members, which I really appreciate. The staff is friendly, helpful, and just as into games as the customers, which makes every visit a good time. Whether you're into tabletop games, miniatures, or card games, this place has it all. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Edit2: Shiv Game's new store owner reached out to me and worked with me to make things right. I was a bit hesitant based on my last interactions with the previous owner, but they wiped away my doubts. They were very kind, professional, and understanding of my situation. I would recommend coming here to get your miniatures. Edit: After leaving this review, I have been kicked and banned from the shiv discord. I did not break any rules, use slurs, or make others feel unwelcomed. I was a newish 40k player who wanted to meet people and get to know the game. But because I voiced my discontent at my current situation here, I was removed from a public space. The owners are NOT friendly if you have problems with their products. Original: Good space for a friendly tabletop environment, just beware when buying 40k stuff here. I had a few missing pieces (incorrect bases and missing a plague marine sprue) in my box set and they refuse to refund me and instead tell you to contact Games Workshop directly. Games Workshop tells you to go through the provider I purchased it from, so they can order pieces. Shiv is refusing to do this as well. It basically leads to a frustrating situation where nobody wants to claim responsibility and help me out. They didn't make this apparent that this was their policy until after I purchased everything. So I guess I am out $200

Treasure trove keep is by far the best game shop experience I've ever had! From The friendly staff, to the amazing community of players. And the games/events here will keep your free time occupied forever if you let it! 100% recommend for all players, New and Veterans alike.

Triangle Area Trading Cards is an elite TCG shop. From their Release nights, gaming, and break events, to trading, grading, and selling, I have always had a great experience. Singles and sealed are priced to TCGPlayer prices and they are always open to negotiation. Trade price has always been a better experience overall than other locations. For example I live almost an hour away and prefer the drive for the value and selection of product over other shops. TATC team has built a solid TCG/SC foundation on which others can look up too. Their table space is unmatched with plenty of seats for trading, opening, playing, and sifting through the categorized bulk from just about every modern era there is XY, sun and moon, etc... There is a nice lounge area with couches and a tv, and the sports cards and memorabilia matches the TCG side of the store and the general area is always kept clean and tidy. Plenty of top loaders, mag, and sleeve products, also a good selection of storage cases and dice. I would recommend stopping here if you intend to purchase play or trade. Well done Triangle Area Trading Cards family.

Initially upon entering, I feel embarrassed to say that my first thought was... Is this it? I primarily visit board game stores, and the selection here wasn't much more than I would find behind the register at any of those other stores. That's when I started to realize that this space is primarily devoted to playing those games. After looking around a bit I was deciding on a purchase and that's when I had my first dealings with the staff. Let me just say that friendly seemed an understatement... Not only did they take the time to talk about the games they offer, but were inviting me to come and play there. Despite being new, I felt welcome and wanted to give it a try. I didn't realize it at the time, but they are open later than most stores... and that actually allows me opportunities to game during the week after my job (which has some pretty awkward hours to work around). At the end of my visit I purchased a couple items and was very pleased with the pricing. I've come to expect that local game stores have to charge more than online stores, but here i was surprised with the value. I will definitely be back and take advantage of both their willingness to teach different card games and their event schedule.
