My boyfriend and I came in for the League of Legends Riftbound- Learn to Play night and had an amazing experience. We called an hour after it started to check if it was still going on, and the staff encouraged us to come in even though we’d never played TCG games before. When we arrived, one of the employees sat down with us for two full hours, patiently teaching us the game step by step. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, never made us feel out of place, and even helped us grasp the basics of TCG games overall. I wish I would have remembered his name, because he really went above and beyond. This was honestly one of the best customer service experiences we’ve ever had. The staff made us feel welcome and supported, and we left feeling excited instead of intimidated. We’re very thankful for such a wonderful employee and will definitely be back to support this business!
Decent selection of r/c stuff but waited 15mins before I was offered any assistance. Then I was told it's a dead hobby. I was planning to buy from him but once I had waited that long and be told that i was wasting my time and money I left I'll continue to buy online from horizon hobbies and A main or traxxas,arrma,redcat themselves I really wanted to buy from a local shop but it won't be this one

I’m giving 5 stars to counter act the one star some one gave these guys yesterday. “ First of all you are in CALIFORNIA, everything is going to gouge up . I rate by costumer service and availability. Although.* yugioh Singles I will say they’re on a very low selection due to hi demand for them…Prices due match up to the other 6 stores with in 30 miles radius on yugioh / One piece/ magic product.. Look now a days with inflation and our certain times “prices will be up” I walked in the store and loved the fact that the staff is working hard on stocking up their inventory instead of slacking. My old roommate comes back to Bham only a few times a year. We were looking for activities to do while he was back for the summer and decided to try to get through a bunch of games from our board game collections. Problem was, he was staying at his folks' place that was a little cramped for space atm and my partner and I have a dog who isn't too fond of visitors. Well, Aegis was the solution. A fun, chill spot to reignite our passion for the tabletop and board game hobby. We played here virtually every weekend over the summer and several weekdays to boot. It was great. Great staff. Super cozy and friendly vibe. Tons of games and paints and miniatures. Can't recommend highly enough.
