⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Randy at Max Rarity in Valley Stream was absolutely amazing! He has a fantastic personality, super accommodating, patient, and easy to talk to. The shop itself was clean, well-organized, and had an incredible selection of inventory. Randy took the time to help me pick something out for myself and even got me set up with around 1,000 cards for my kid’s art project. This is exactly what I look for in a trading card store, a place that actually cares about the customer experience. Unfortunately, most local shops don’t compare, but Max Rarity definitely sets the standard. A well-deserved 5 stars.
Visiting from out of state. Cute shop on the smaller side, but had a pretty decent selection of games for various systems at fair pricing both loose, and CIB and some rare titles. The Owner was super friendly and helpful and was kind enough to give us some recommendations for site seeing in the area. Would be happy to give them more of our business if we are ever in the area again. Thank you from Washington State!
Met the wonderful people of Misfit Games at Retro Game Con in Syracuse. My boyfriend and I were on our way out and realized we never stopped at their table, so we went to take a look. They were so kind, generous, and gave me a great deal on the Pokémon cards I was looking at. I mostly collect the cute cards and they had just ripped a box of the new Inferno X set, which had a lot of cuties in it! They gave me more than reasonable prices and I was so excited to end a long day with some awesome new cards. They seemed happy that I was so happy, which is the cherry on top. We will definitely be in touch with them for anything TCG in the future!

Really nice employees and a nice shop! Don’t let the size of the shop fool you there’s plenty in stock and their website is even bigger. Definitely a great local shop to support if you’re into any sort of collectibles from Japan
Pretty awesome local gaming store. Mostly centered around Magic the Gathering and other CCGs, but they also have a large selection of board games, tabletop miniature wargames, and other gaming supplies. Large, clean store with a friendly environment. They have a nice large gaming area upstairs that is generally open to everyone at any time for use (except during large events where the tables are all in use). They also have a smaller gaming area downstairs for special events, small tournaments, and other events.
We almost missed it walking by, but it was full of young people playing board games. Seems like a great place to hang out if you are a gamer. The staff did right by us in our purchase and seemed like really nice people. Support this small business so they can continue to expand their selection and upgrade the facilities.
