A Cardstore - 4018 Union Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225, United States

Coming to this store even in torrential downpour is a ray of sunshine to my day. I was looking for some cards for my Magic: the Gathering deck that I have been work on for months and Danny who was working at the time was very respectful and knowledgeable in the subject. Also people within the store helped me with free cards and knowledge as well. With board games, popular card games, funko pop, 40k Warhammer set and figurines, this place is a one stop shop for anything pop culture and enjoy a conversation or two about your favorite anime. I enjoy coming here, and will come back many days in the future.

This is a family friendly place, our kids never want to leave and the staff have been absolutely wonderful with every fascination or question they have. It's also for the real collectors, they have a professional eye for quality in cards and their inventory reflects that. If selling, they are fair in what they offer and a better deal that most other card shops. Truly a gem of a store and I hope they stay around for decades to come!

About everything I could've hoped for from a local game store. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who care about games. A nice group of people to play with who welcomed me, despite me being new and inexperienced. Good selection of products, and the staff are willing to help special order items for you. They run regular events weekly to bi-weekly that are well worth going to. I've only been going for just over a month and I already feel so comfortable and welcome here. Highly recommended. :)

The biggest and easiest to navigate BL/GL/yaoi/yuri section I have ever seen. For that alone, you’ve earned your five stars. The store is extremely well-organized. Manga volumes are all shrink-wrapped, meaning they are in great condition, except for the heavily discounted used section. Only one copy of each volume seems to be out at any given time, which frees up the display space and makes it very easy to find what you’re looking for, and it’s also aesthetically pleasing. I am not sure how this is achieved, I can only think that the employees are extremely meticulous about it. The selection of manga is very wide; I think this place is your best bet if you’re looking for obscure titles, or if you want to discover something new. The manga are all discounted to some extent, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Good stuff.

This shop is like walking into a fantasy land of dreams and the owner is just too fabulous. As a novice graphic novel dabbler, I didn't really know where to start for some good series outside my shirt list of LGBTQIA+ positive comics I had roughly put together beforehand. I was quickly able to get the owners help locating those and then he talked me through so many other great series to try as I explore and learn more about artist and creators and genres I love. I am obsessed with the comics I did purchase my first day and can't wait to go back and support this great shop by ordering next editions. They had an amazing selection, can order what you want and they have great knowledge on everything in the shop. There was even a group playing D&D in the back of shop while there. Just so cool. A must see spot in Troy that makes our great city so unique and fun.

Much more than you would expect. Lots of trading card, board games, and tabletop games. The staff was extremely friendly, and let me and my family know about upcoming events and tournaments. Prices were very fair and in some cases better than other local game stores.
