We loved finding this gem while on vacation! We actually had no idea it was comic book day either, so they had a large special event happening. Woul highly recommend. Of your traveling from a distance, this is going to have a large amount of comics and games so I think it would be worth the drive.

Fantastic Games is where board games go when they dream. It's a wonderland of whirling dice, colorful meeples, and cardboard kingdoms. With staff more knowledgeable than a trivia game's answer key and speedier shipping than a cheetah on roller skates, it’s the Michael Jordan of game stores: always on point!
The store was clean and well kept. Plenty of ay space and the overall atmosphere was really good. But then you get to the pricing of items. The pokemon etbs were ridiculously overpriced. Booster packs are laughable being marked up and extra 50%. Collection boxes or booster bundles are the same way. I tried to hold out skepticism and look at their singles selection. The store actually did have a good selection of singles for pokemon you just had to ask to see their binders. But then you ask the price for them all and get fronted with reality again. They dont ask for market value, they say they sell at "mid market" of tcg. So a card thats 135 they would sell for about 155. Yea im good on that lol. Did end up grabbing a few cheaper cards just to make the trip worth it. Wouldn't recommend unless your willing to fork over some extra cash.

The store is super organized, clean, and welcoming—and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They’re always happy to help whether you’re a beginner or a longtime collector. I’ve picked up some great finds here, and I love how they support the community with events and tournaments. It’s a perfect place to shop, hang out, or just browse if you're into anything fantasy, anime, or gaming related. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

My favorite comic shop in Tucson. They have a large selection of new release and old comics, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, omnibuses, coloring books, children’s books, and even carry comics books by local comic creators. The owner Matt and his staff Jason and Eric are super friendly and awesome guys. Love going in to pick up comics from my pull list and sharing the new things I’m reading or watching with them. They will really make you feel welcomed into their comic book community every time you walk through the door.
Heading back today for another visit. Stumbled across this store while walking to a place to eat and had to stop in. If you’re looking for one of those giant superstore type, 20+ employees, and every variant cover known to man, keep walking. If you’re looking for an independent shop with great service, helpful associates and a good selection of back issue this is your store. Will be back every time I’m through the area!
