An incredibly welcoming group of people! No need to bring your own game, as there are always dozens of board games that other people have brought. Folks are more than happy to let you borrow one for an hour or two. Plenty of people will be excited to teach you the rules to a game you've never played before (and there will be tons of games you've never played before, guaranteed). Come join the most exciting meetup in town!
Friendly City Games has been in Lebanon for more than 30 years. We started under the name “Umpires Choice” on Chicago Street. Today, as “Friendly City Games”, we continue to serve the city of Lebanon in person, and the wider gaming community online. We teach Magic The Gathering Every Sunday at 5pm, and Pokemon two Saturdays per month. Watch for announcement of Pokemon Saturdays on Facebook and here.
Owner was rude! Called to ask for directions (because his business is hard to find, hidden in the back of a building in a location that looks like a garage or a loading dock or something strange) and the owner was not pleasant about helping us find his location. Unfortunate, because customer service is just as important as inventory. This “store” was incredibly unkept - I use the term “store” lightly because this business resembled somebody’s basement more than it did a place to shop. Untidy, and cats were running around, smelled like maybe the cats had marked the place a few times as well. Would maybe be able to look past those things if the owner had been more pleasant to deal with. Seemed like our presence in his basement “store” was more of a bother to him than anything.

On many occasions they have gone above and beyond to help create magic ✨ by hosting fun tournmant events, having great cards along with fair prices to help us build the ultimate deck and they even have a great inventory of deck boxes. Their passion and knowledge for gaming makes every visit enjoyable even when we pop in to find a new board game.
