Super fun store! Great for browsing if you’re looking for a niche gift for a friend. They also have gacha (random blind box) machines and claw machines , its not cheap lol but they’re not super rigged since the prizes are small. They had small plushies and keychains when i went The store itself has rows and rows of keychains and figures, and a small selection of wearables. I liked the wearables bc theres a lot of subtle merch (and some very unsubtle) options for everyday wear. You cant try on though so know your asian size beforehand

Just stopped by Boom Tube Comics for the first time to pick up a gift for my niece that loves Miles Morales. The shop was very cool with a great selection of comics, figures, and trading cards. Found a Miles statue she’s going to LOVE and I even managed to find a few things for me to fill my midlife crisis/childhood nostalgia craving lol. Chatted with Dan while I was there and he was very cool! I mentioned my wife has a graphic novel being published soon and he gave me his business card as he likes to support local artists. If you’re from or even in the area, I totally recommend stopping by.
Disappointing Experience – Price Gouging & Poor Ethics I visited Boomerang Comics hoping to support a local business and expand my collection, but I left incredibly disappointed. The shop heavily marks up modern products — especially Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and — well above retail. I understand the market fluctuates, but charging 2–3x MSRP for in-print, widely available items feels like blatant scalping, not supply and demand. What’s worse, they pull desirable singles from sealed products and then price them at inflated "market" value, leaving shelves stocked with junk nobody wants. It’s clear they prioritize profit over the collector community. Staff were indifferent when I asked about fair pricing or restocks, and I got the sense they knew exactly what they were doing. There are plenty of shops (and online stores) that treat collectors with respect and don’t take advantage of hype. I won’t be returning here and can’t recommend this store to anyone looking for an honest or welcoming experience.

Finally found a good place for collectibles in OC. Clean and well organized. Helpful staff. Spent about an hour in there today talking with who I presume is the owner. I bought a big load of stuff and he worked with me a bit on price even though his prices were already very competitive to online comps. Will be back here probably every week. If you're in the area, and you like Funkos, Pokemon, One Piece etc. this is a must visit.
