Come here every time we are in the mall. Love saying hi to Esther, she's the kind of woman you want her to adopt you as a grandkid. She is sweet and lovable and honestly cares. She really knows her stuff or how to find it. She does layaway and works with people who are new to a game to get started and learn. She had tournaments too where you can play locally. There are tables in the back to hang out at and talk card shop, test decks, and learn. She has Magic, Yugioh, and Pokemon as the main trading card game cards, but she does baseball cards, Dragon Ball cards, and just about any others I've heard of. She has all the storage and card sleeves you need. Bought for my dad the display cases for The Beatles trading cards I got him for Christmas, and he adores them. You can order cards or things special too. If Esther can't find it, her son in the shop down the street might be able to. We got our advent calendars for Yugioh here and were super happy with them. There are also bulk commons in the back, and very well priced, but you might have to dig a bit. Found extra cards I didn't know existed that rounded out a deck I was building while digging, so it might be a good thing to have to dig! But really, Esther, adopt me and Jake, you're that lovable.

What can I say! Matt and Pat are the best! These guys will go out of their way to help you out! Fair pricing, friendly conversation and really invested in the community. They are not your typical “I know more than you” card shop. The guys at the shop are knowledgeable, and easy to work with! Product is always there and their single selection is amazing. I’m 2 hours away from their shop but will say that this shop is by far my favorite card shop! If you are in the area I really encourage you to check out First Round Picks!!!

Do not take vintage PC big box games here. They paid about $1 per each for a lot of vintage games including floppys and floppy diskettes. Total rip off which we only accepted because we are in a tight spot with family. Horrible to be treated kindly to face then get low balled to that degree. Same amount was over a thousand at pay more, which they dismissed as 'just a chain store'. Just go there, at least they tell you up front they are cutting you in half to take the profit. Edit to reply to response: They got a great deal by taking massive advantage of ppl who are in a bad spot w family. It is easy for them to say they are the ones who overpaid bc they know we can't come back due to family. They will make profit hand over fist on things like doom II and epix games big box cib. We told them we have our hands full w out of state family. They could have just said no if it was really a bad deal in their minds. This response shows they are liars as well as cheats! Avoid avoid avoid!
Never felt welcomed here, only employee that was good to me and my crew was the guy with the red hair, sorry guy, can't remember your name but you're a real one. Being personable goes alot farther than having good in stock inventory. I don't care what you do or do not have in product, act like you take an interest in me and anyone else regardless of age or gender, if someone wants to get into magic, don't belittle them.

As one of the leaders of Summit’s Crown, our local Beyblade club in Akron, and part of the wider Black Crescent Community in Ohio, I just want to express how grateful we are to Full Grip Games. For the past 7 months, they’ve consistently welcomed us in with open arms—setting aside one or two Saturdays each month and sharing their space with us. Beyblade can be a loud and energetic game, but they’ve never once complained. We share the space with other players and spectators, and it’s always been a positive, respectful atmosphere. I first reached out to them out of the blue in December, and they didn’t hesitate—they just said, “Let’s do it.” Thanks to their support, our small group has grown into a recognized presence in the area. We wouldn’t be where we are without them. On top of that, their selection of imported Pokémon products from Japan is genuinely impressive. Nobody else has what they have.
