Wonderful selection! We drove an hour from home to visit this shop and was not disappointed. We were even given free prize packs which we were very excited about. Will be stopping by anytime we are in the area!

My daughter said she wanted Pokémon packs and had no clue where to start. The local Walmart was sold out so I called Donnie, the owner of 8bit buddy. He had a good selection and helped navigate the waters(apparently alot bigger deal than when I was young). We ended up spending more than anticipated but he cut a better deal than I could find anywhere else and gave her a bunch of promo stuff. While in there browsing I was hit hard by childhood nostalgia as I seen alot of Sega games I played as a kid so he'll definitely be getting some more of my money 🤣

This is a fantastic store and space. There are comfortable couches and lots of tables and chairs for gameplay and even private rooms. Their selection is excellent, including their locally designed T-shirts. They even have a selection of free cards for new players. I highly recommend Alchemist’s Refuge.

Trip Review 15.5( 16 but I like the name better ). All American Cards and Comics – Boardman, OH (52 Boardman Canfield Rd.) Greg’s 2nd location. All American Cards and Comics in Boardman is a fantastic extension of the Warren location—think of it less as a carbon copy and more like Warren’s little brother with its own distinct charm. Housed in a convenient strip mall, it’s a bit more compact, but that actually works in its favor. The layout is streamlined, clean, and incredibly well-organized, making it easy to browse whether you’re hunting for back issues, the latest comics, Magic: The Gathering singles, or gaming supplies. While it may not have the same size as the Warren location, this shop holds its own with a focused selection and top-notch customer service. Every major purchase I’ve made from owner Greg Bartholomew has come from this very store, and the quality has always been outstanding. Most recently, I picked up a pristine copy of All-Star Comics featuring the first appearance of Power Girl. One major highlight is the adjacent gaming annex. Instead of cramming tables into the retail space, they’ve dedicated a separate area next door for gaming. This keeps the main store open, easy to navigate, and free of clutter—perfect for collectors and casual browsers alike. Whether you’re a Magic player looking for rare cards, a comic collector searching for that elusive issue, or just someone who appreciates a well-run local shop, this location is definitely worth a visit. And don’t forget—they’re always buying Magic cards and comics too, so bring your extras! Greg Bartholomew

"Thank you all very much for your no-hassle great customer service! Every time I order from your store or have any questions or concerns, you’ve been just spot on with being courteous and quick to replies to my emails. Many thanks to you for taking that extra step when it comes to customer satisfaction."

Hands down one of the best Hobby stores I’ve ever been to! This place has EVERYTHING from blasters to high end! All sports from late 90’s to present. Tons of hard to find products, knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing on relevant releases. I’d give them a 10 outta 10 if I could! Great experience! If you’re serious about collecting this is your place!
