My friend has been coming to this store for about 7 years and about two years ago him and I have been going to this store during our hangouts and been always treated well by Casey and Kelly. However this last visit kinda changed everything. Casey came up to us unexpectedly with a bad attitude and made it seem like we were damaging his stuff even though we were just looking around at their products and holding them carefully. We accidentally dropped a box but with no damage at all and a hook did fall as well but it wasn’t our fault, we also grabbed a comic book and just put it back where it belonged. We just assumed that maybe he was in a bad mood but not sure if we’ll ever come back here again. Wish him and Kelly all the best.

Get great deals and low prices on brand-name merchandise at Buy N Sell City! We carry an ever-changing selection of brand-name, quality, pre-owned products at great prices. Looking to sell? Why waste time waiting for an interested buyer on eBay or Craigslist? We buy items you no longer use and pay you cash on the spot.

They have the most quality selection of old comics that I have seen to date, Randy also buys comics so if your selling there also great for that. There prices are more then fair for the quality of the 30-50 year old comics your purchasing. Great selection they have anyone you could think of.

Fantastic selection of games from Warhammer to Magic the gathering to your board game classics. Wonderful staff and excellent stock on pre-release items. I couldn't get what I wanted online or at other area stores but Buzz city had me covered. I did my first pre release event and the staff were helpful in answering my game questions and organizing the event. 10/10 will play and preorder here again.

Charging me tax on $10 worth of overpriced dollar cards is super annoying. Especially after I just sold you $60 worth of cards at 70%. You couldn't just be happy with a $10 bill. 🤦♂️... Should you charge tax on stuff that has msrp? Yes. But you shouldn't be charging tax on cards (aka singles) you just make up prices for. Edit- that's a lot of words to justify your 80 cents in tax ... 1st of all, I've never talked bad to your employee. I've simply told him that other local shops seem to figure out the tax thing so it's not impossible to figure out. 2nd - you "gave" a 60 cent card but I bought a $9 slab for $10 plus tax so ty for the "free" card but you overpriced the slab and when i asked for a better price you literally said "i don't like giving deals". I got a cgc 8.5 and psa 9 is $10.50. Thought there would be some level of leniency given the fact that i just sold you cards worth way more than i got for them. Yes the prices of singles are technically "made up", they aren't set in stone like msrp products are. If they were, you wouldn't be able to buy any cards from people. So you can explain it however you want, try to make me an evil, disrespectful cheapskate, that's fine. There's 3 other shops in the area that I have none of these "issues" at 🤷♂️
Been in the neighborhood 29 years and C&B has always been legit. The best place in Ridgewood, arguably, if not one of them, for TCG from YGO, to Magic and Pokemon. They have always seemed to specialize in YGO, but their Magic selection in terms of recent set releases has been great. They stock commander precons as well. Accessory inventory has been very good too.

Owner was very knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. We were on our way to town when the store was closing and he went above and beyond to stay late for us to shop. Fantastic experience with great selection at fair prices, would recommend to anyone
