I've played Mtg since 2011 and have played at most of the local gaming stores in the Metro Richmony Area. While I've had great experiences at most of the stores, MTT stands out.Amazing staff. Great people. Healthy environment. Competitive, but in a challenging way not intimidating. They do a great job catering to both new players of games and people who have played for a long time. Staff goes above and beyond. Recently, I told them about a cube I was building and they helped me find the cards I needed. I once got burned online buying a chase mythic for my Brother's birthday. I went to MTT to buy it and they knocked a few bucks off just cause it was for my Brother's birthday. That demonstrates the people they are. If I'm playing Fnm or doing a Prerelease, MTT is my first choice every time( and I pass at least 3 or 4 others to get there) support local gaming stores. Support good people. Support MTT.

From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The shop is super well-organized and has an amazing selection the people who work here are some of the nicest and most helpful folks I’ve ever met. They’re not just knowledgeable they’re genuinely passionate about the hobby scene and always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Whether you're a long-time collector or totally new to it all, they’ll treat you like part of the community. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re even a little curious. It’s a place you’ll want to keep coming back to. (there do is also very cute :)

One Eyed Jacques is a board game store in the heart of Richmond, VA. We specialize in Magic The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, board games, card games, puzzles, and more!

He had to shop at IKEA and decided to get a few things here for our son for having to deal with the boring task. He enjoyed the store and selection. The sales clerk today 6/7/25 was very nice and sociable and welcoming. We don't live close but I'd recommend this place. We picked up a couple things and it was very nice experience. 😀

Decent selection if you're into Pokemon or MTG, not much of anything else though. Staff seemed like they did not like me even walking in the store though, stared repeatedly without saying anything and when I did ask for something they answered but showed little care when I asked for a product that they have only a small display for. I don't care that they didn't have what I was looking for, the impression sucked becos we use local game stores for community and a chance to socialize which this shop clearly didn't want from the community if you aren't playing Magic or Pokemon or, what felt most obvious anyway, you look different than a card shop frequenter I guess?

Located in the heart of downtown Fairfax, Games & Comics Pair O'Dice offers comics books, board games, MtG and more!
