This was the first place I ever stopped at in Memphis, and Tennessee in general. I came here 2 weeks ago and this place is phenomenal! If you want a true comic book store, an OG store, this is the place to go. I’m a fan of back issues and they have a TON and not to mention how amazing their prices are! Dollar comic boxes and shelves, 50 cent boxes 🤯. And the grade on these books are pretty good too. I can’t get this selection and pricing in my hometown DC. I was welcomed by Shannon when I walked in. He walked me through the entire store, and how to find whatever I’m interested in. He even gave me a wheeled stool to sift thru low boxes. The young lady at the checkout counter was really nice as well. I ended up making two trips here during my visit to Memphis, bought around 60 comics and spent under $150. I wish I had more time to visit 901 comics east but time was short. Long story short, this place is awesome.
first off this shop feels like a comic book store not a toy store that has comics and action figures. Zach who is the face and personality of the store is wonderful and knows this stuff can carry on a conversation about comics. I am introducing my son to collecting and we had a wonderful time and bought several issues. My son told me he can't wait to go back. Thank you to Zach
