KeepUp
keepupcards developer resources
KeepUp is a directory of trading card shops. Read the public pages on this site. Do not call a private API for shop lists.
What KeepUp does not publish
KeepUp does not publish a public shop API, an OpenAPI file, an SDK, or an MCP server. Addresses under /api/ belong to the website. They are not a directory you should call.
Where to read the directory
- Guide for AI agents (llms.txt) — Short map of the public pages and what each one is for.
- Sitemap — The full list of public pages, including every shop, city, and game page.
- Robots — Public pages are allowed. These are not: /admin/, /api/, /account/, /dashboard/, /demo/.
- Homepage — Browsers get the normal page. A client that sends Accept: text/markdown on the homepage gets that same page as Markdown. Other addresses stay HTML.
- Shop directory — Browse shops by location, game, and store features.
- Shops by state — One page for each US state and Washington, DC.
- Shops by game — One page for each trading card game in the directory.
- Online stores — Shops that sell online.
Page addresses
- /shop/ev-games-camarillo-ca — One shop. The last part is a short address name, not the store's display name. A shop with no short name uses its id. The sitemap lists every current shop.
- /directory/california — A state page. The state is lowercase.
- /directory/california/fresno — A city page.
- /directory/games/pokemon — A game page.
- /directory/california/fresno/pokemon — A game-in-a-city page. It exists only when that city has at least 3 shops for that game.
Addresses that add ?city= or ?games= are search screens. Cite the state, city, and game pages instead.
