Visited this toy store my husband, daughter and I. Looked around and were watched the whole time. We were just happy to see a toy store we don’t have one where we live and my daughter thought it was cool. Everything my daughter touch he came from around the counter and told her not to play with it and she wasn’t she was just “looking with her hands”.We told him once not to say anything but he just kept on coming from around the counter. We were going buy her something there but changed our mind. Never again
Owner forced me to buy a toy claiming I had broken the seal when the seal was in fact already broken. The toy itself was unharmed and the so called “seal” was just tape. I threw it away right outside the door.
If I could rate this place lower than a one, I would! My partner and I were there a few days ago and the owner was watching us the whole time! We’ve been there more than once and the first time he was watching us but did not bother us. This time, he came up to us while my partner had a toy in his hand and told him to put it back. We were in the back of the store, it was a big toy, and were still exploring! This was obviously with malicious intent because he was being rude and dismissive acting like we were not in HIS store, shopping for HIS merchandise. It is Christmas time and we trying to find gifts but instead were welcomed by his nonsense. So, my partner ended up buying the toy that wasn’t even worth stealing because if that’s how he wanted to play that’s fine, we did not miss that measly 15 dollars. We didn’t even want it. We were just holding it. And we threw it away right outside the door of his store. The mall needs to really reconsider who store they open! This is not a good environment and the owner is racist and just rude. For him to appear as a POC is disheartening as well because to be a minority or have an appearance of a minority and still act that way is ignorant to a high extent. This store should be closed permanently and from reading the other reviews it’s clear that he’s done this plenty of times and all around not a good business owner!
