Looked into buying into a break Via tik tok. Noticed there own accounts were bidding up against themselves and driving up auction prices. Said something about it and was banned. Just some shady characters and would recommend people in the hobby do business elsewhere.
Greatest card shop, extremely family friendly. We were visiting from California & drove all the way from Manhattan to sell some cards knowing AC pays top $ & provides honest & fair offers. His team is extremely knowledgeable about cards & the owner is very passionate about the hobby. He gave us a tour of the facility let us check out his live stream on tok tok where they were doing some very lucrative repacks. We witnessed some of the best cards being pulled in the hobby. My son even added a James Cook RPA to his collection for only $40. The owner stopped what he was doing on his busy day to take time & welcome us like family even posting a video on tik-tok with us. That’s what customer service is all about.
I came across AC Breakz on TikTok while looking for a fun way to get my son involved in the card hobby. We were considering buying into a break and even thought about checking out the store in person since we’re local — but after what we saw, we’ve decided against both. During the live stream, someone asked a very reasonable question about card value, and instead of getting an answer, they were immediately banned. That kind of response just feels shady. If your product and pricing can’t stand up to basic questions, that’s a problem. What really sealed the decision for us was the tone of the stream. The girls hosting the breaks seemed more focused on putting on a show than actually engaging with the cards or the community. It wasn’t something I felt comfortable having my kids watch, and that’s saying a lot when this hobby should be fun and welcoming for all ages. We had been seriously considering supporting this business, both online and in-store, but after this experience, we’re taking our money elsewhere. There are plenty of card shops that treat collectors with respect and focus on the hobby — this just isn’t one of them.
