Battlegrounds to Board Games

I'm quite a regular at this shop. I mostly visit for Warhammer 40k products and games but the shop overall is fantastic. I'm not big into trading card games, but they do have staff well knowledgeable in Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Lorcana and more with regular, weekly events for all of them! As for the war games & TTRGs, the owner has gone above and beyond in investing in unique terrain for people to use freely in the shop for their own private games and even has a private room to rent out with plenty of miniatures free to use (while renting). They even have events for board games in which you can bring in your own games and let other people try them out! Only first started going here in late 2021 but both the store and community has only grown since!

Great shop and great selection! So many unique items for the games I play that you don't expect to find on a store shelf. Trade in program is strong and very fair on used minis. The secondary room for games and tournament is great to avoid bumping into customers and oh man the carpet is such a life saver on my back!

First off: My boyfriend is VERY interested in Marvel Crisis Protocol. We're on vacation and where we actually live, the selections are very little. We went to a game store named Freedom who was selling Marvel Crisis Protocol but they still had a small selection (Their marvel was 50% off so we bought a handful) They were also very nice!! But since they had a limited amount, i asked them for a suggestion and they suggested Battlegrounds to Board games. Based on the review pictures, we were VERY unsure of going. We didn't think they'd have what we want because the review pictures were all about cards. Well, we gave it a chance. Not only did they have PLENTY of Marvel Crisis Protocol, but they also had playing mats!! We've looked FOREVER for the mats (if you play, you'll know the mats are hard to find). The guys there were extremely nice and very friendly!! We felt so comfortable to ask questions and to just chit chat. They had a wide selection of a bunch of stuff!! From terrain, to other games, to cards, to paints, to so much more! They also said they play every Friday night! Very good store. I Definitely suggest it! p.s. i liked their fire extinguisher area lol.
