Beachead Comics

I’ve been to a few comic book stores around the valley and this place is a dream come true. The collection consists of an extensive variety where you’ll be able to find something for everyone of all ages and if not the owner is pretty good on ordering issues to your liking. Overall, it’s a good vibe, tons of comics and toys, and many gems just waiting to be added to your collection!

Every time I go into Beachhead Comics I come out with new books! I’m welcomed as soon as walk in the door and I’ve never had to wait to get help finding the exact comic I’m after. The selection is great and kept current on everything I read!

Yep yep yep this is the place to visit for back issues of Marvel. This is a medium sized shop with an extensive selection—3-layered arrangement of long-boxes with items cover-priced unless otherwise marked. With the place to myself for most of my visit, I was able to look through the back issues in peace and left with over $30 in late 80s and early 90s Marvel. While I wish parking were easier in the neighborhood, that’s a minor thing. And if you’re familiar with Ontario Street comics on Philly, you know you don’t and can’t judge a shop by its neighborhood.
