I’ve always been a collector, but never really part of the “community”, so I’ve always felt like an imposter heading into a new LCS. But my safety LCS was no longer nearby after moving 6 months ago and Target had been out of stock for months, so I had to stop by Beast when I got the itch. Happy I did. It’s a small shop but it’s a healthy mix of sports and a touch of TCG. I was greeted by the guys working up front - the guy breaking live even stopped to welcome me in. They’ve got a bit of everything and I took my time looking around like an old timer at a museum. The prices were standard for an LCS, but I was given the time of day by the guy working the front who helped me when I had a question and took a genuine interest in figuring out what I was looking for and also educating me on different products. He talked to me like a collector and not a salesman or sleazy dealer. Overall, 5 star experience. I’ve been back 5-10 times over the last 6 months so I’m no regular, but I can confirm the standard of service is consistent. The team is super friendly and always has a good story or piece of knowledge to share. It’s really appreciated! To potential customers, I highly recommend you stop in to see what’s in stock - they’re always in stock when others are sold out and they have product on the shelf that you’d wanted to buy 3 years ago and haven’t found anywhere until now. To the team at Beast, keep it up - service is something I feel that hobby shops and the hobby in general doesn’t place an emphasis on. You guys excel at it without effort.

What a great local card store. My teenager is very into sports cards but is still new to it all. He showed them a few cards and asked how to know which to grade, best ways to sell, etc. They taught him so many things and did so kindly and patiently. We have already been back and plan to go through them to get some cards graded.
