The worker at the register I met was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. I asked him a very simple question—if he carried any kind of portable music player (I’m on the hunt for one, might as well ask! And I saw multiple other kinds of vintage electronics as well as music being sold). He very rudely replied “Uhhh no ? Why we carry those 🙄 “ I literallly asked a simply kind question obviously not a weird question considering the type of store it is. Plz be aware if you go to this store that this guy might be off putting. Based on his replies to literally all the other negative reviews, this “owner” is totally clueless of his rude nature—or maybe he just likes to be rude to people who have done nothing wrong! Owner, know that if you reply it will literally only confirm my suspicion of your nature and prove my point 😬😬

During a brief visit to Davis with my husband, I was fortunate enough to discover this gem of a store. It’s undoubtedly one of the standout spots in downtown. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was genuinely down-to-earth, and picked up some fascinating books and horror films to enjoy once we returned home. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
