I ordered an all in one grow bag from their website a few weeks ago and it came quickly. eventually I opened the box and realized that there was a small hole in the bag (Assuming it happened during shipping). I reached out to their customer service team about the issue for some advice and they got back quickly and told me that I was likely going to contaminate. Following this, they offered to send me a free replacement bag which is on the way. Thank you for the good customer service and understanding!
Wrote this review about a month ago, but hesitated to share in hopes that they get back to me. They never did.... Also one of the 2 bags I ordered was contaminated as well, but I didn't bother contacting them as it would have more than likely went unanswered like the agar plates in the review below. I ordered from Booming Acres recently, and while most of the items arrived in good shape, the agar plates were a total letdown. Out of five plates, two became contaminated within just 2-3 days—a clear sign of poor sterile technique or inadequate sealing on their end. I reached out twice, providing my order number and details, hoping for a resolution. No response. Not even a generic acknowledgment. That kind of silence from a company that claims to support cultivators is unacceptable. I even made a quick, respectful video showing the issue and tagged them, trying to get their attention. Instead of a helpful reply, someone—likely a Booming Acres employee—responded with a rude and unprofessional comment. Still, I’ve heard nothing directly from the company. Booming Acres may have a slick-looking brand, but their lack of accountability, subpar product quality (at least with their agar), and radio-silent customer support speak volumes. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I’d strongly caution others to do their research before spending money here.
Ordered 5 bags shipped really fast. The 4 out of the 5 colonized. I emailed them about that and they and they sent me a replacement bag for free. Very good customer service and products. Highly recommend them.
