Updated: This is THE BEST Comic Book Store ever! You are greeted as soon as you enter the store (not ignored like other local comic book stores) and given a chance to walk around and check things out. I commented on a Watchmen TV series poster hanging in the store and they offered it to me for free! It's hanging in my home! It has been 9 months since my last visit and nothing has changed! When we first visited over 6 months ago, I was so impressed by the customer service! We were immediately greeted as we entered the store, offered assistance, and then had the freedom to check around without being hounded by employees. Since then, my fiancé is a frequent visitor and is on a first name basis with the owner (everyone is because no one calls him by his last name). They also have a YouTube channel (Turning the Page) where new items are discussed and reviewed. The only gripe is that their store is limited to comics and gaming but no figures or statutes. However, these can be easily ordered for pick up! There is a 20% off discount for comic books offered to box subscribers. BEST COMIC STORE IN FREDERICK COUNTY!! Previous review: This location always leaves me impressed. The customer service is great and everyone is so kind and helpful.
The best comic book store in Maryland in my opinion. I am not able to go very often being it is 40 minutes from my home but they are always willing to special order comics and does not over charge for current comics like many other stores. Customer service is the best. Back issue selecting is amazing. Very clean and organized. The comic pictured was a special order that was cover price where many stores were charging three times cover price.
Great addition to Walkersville! I went in to check it out and the person at the desk was friendly and helpful. I found great age appropriate comics for my littles and they had a great selection of table games and even family board games. They have a huge gaming room and a very nice friendly feeling to the place.
