A fantastic spot nestled on the second floor, BGK has become the watering hole for all sorts of board games, card games, TTRPGs, special events, and caters to hobbyists from all walks of life! The owners have been an absolute treat to get to know, and the community they’ve fostered there are wonderful folks! If you’re interested in Magic: The Gathering or having a board game night with your friends, you’d be hard pressed to find a warmer, cleaner, more welcoming spot!

My favorite place for all things cards and tabletop! Extremely friendly atmosphere and overall the best experience I've had in any store. The owners and staff are all amazing and so are the patrons that gather for the weekly events. Industry City has a lot to see but I recommend this spot as #1 easily. Whether it's weekly Magic the Gathering, Star Wars, Tabletop, Roleplaying and more; this is the place to be!

I am falling in love with this spot. Owners are super friendly and the shop has a really unique and inviting atmosphere. A great place to meet new people (or hang with old friends) and play a seemingly endless variety of tabletop games. They even have a paint night. Meeting up and having real interactions with old friends or new acquaintances is refreshingly nostalgic. Pro tip: Join the Brooklyn Game Knight group on the Discord app to see chatter about events, store schedules, and open invites to join role playing games. I consider myself a noob and I've always felt welcome. Wishing the owners many years of success!!

I’ve been to a lot of local game shops since I moved to Brooklyn a handful of months ago, and Brooklyn Game Knight is filled with some of the nicest people I’ve met in my life. This might be the most tight knit but somehow still simultaneously open and welcoming group of folks ever, and they continue to be at the forefront of my mind when it comes to being a spot that I genuinely like to hang out at after feeling so lost moving from Chicago to NY. So happy to say I’ve brought a handful of friends here who share the same sentiment, and they continue to show up for all kinds of events that the owners (Sara and Frank) host all the time. They treat their customers like friends and have created a wonderful community that supports them as much as they support their community. Truly a great place to be, and thank you for welcoming me in with open arms!
