Went here a handful of times, I wouldn’t buy any tcg that could be mapped from a case cuz that’s what they sell on their wall. Everything they get in gets ripped first on stream and once a big chase gets hit off a case example a Manga from one piece or a the 3 SPs from Weiss, they sell the rest of the case in the store to unknowing buyers hoping to get a big hit. And if you try ordering online they don’t ship you sealed product they Require you to have it ripped on stream and ship only the hits keeping playsets of cards and profiting once again off of these cards. To the owners credit he did mention the first time I came in that the best way to increase your chances of a hit off a case is to watch and buy packs/boxes during a stream. Tried to be transparent without pointing out the obvious “don’t buy off the shelf” cuz there’s nothing. I just don’t like their business model at all, it feels very sus imo

I’ve been a loyal customer at Buddy’s Collectibles for a while now and usually have a great experience friendly, attentive staff and solid prices. But this last visit was a complete letdown. The store was busy, which I get, but the energy from the staff was completely off. Everyone seemed frustrated and overwhelmed, and one employee in particular was downright rude making sarcastic, smart comments that felt totally uncalled for. Not what I expect from a place I’ve supported so many times. On top of that, the prices were way above market bordering on scalper territory. I’ve always appreciated their fair pricing before, but this time it felt like they jacked things up just because the store was full. No room for negotiation, and when I compared prices online afterward, I realized I had overpaid by a lot. Yes, I still bought an Elite Trainer Box and a Booster Bundle, but sadly, this will be my last purchase here. It’s disappointing because I used to love coming in. Hopefully they get back on track, but for now, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.
The store is very clean and stocked with almost anything you're looking for. Staff are genuine and knowledgeable, and their prices are fair. They host tournaments, live breaks on different streaming platforms, and offer grading services. Thank you buddies for my new crippling weiss addiction, and getting me back into the pokemon hobby.
