My experience was rather short but not great. The employee or owner not sure was just on the phone and followed me around the store like I was gonna steal something. I see they had a lot of different things but Asked about yugioh and showed me a extremely small selection of cards on a shelf. Asked about lower end cards and bulk and told me I needed an appointment to look at bulk. Wanted to spend my money and guess they didn't want it unless I was under surveillance. Hopefully this is improved on.

Positives first; I'm an advocate for shopping local when it comes to trading cards, and I think this store has a lot of fun inventory that I would encourage people to check out. You can find a decent deal on things if you know what to look for and the owner seems to be comfortable with negotiating prices on certain product. Now negatives; the "boss" is rarely in and it is my experience that the employee who is usually behind the counter is unable to buy or sell damn near everything when this is the case. If the owner is not present, and you're there to negotiate, sell, or look for ANYTHING in a bulk bin, good luck. In my experience he's rarely in. Unfortunately, I've also felt like the employee has aggressively shadowed me for loss prevention (which I get), made abrasive attempts at up-selling me on cards, and has made pretty presumptuous statements about what I may or may not be into every time I've shopped there. I think there are other stores near / around Painesville where you will be treated with more dignity and respect, and get a bigger bang for your buck without any hassle.

I'd leave a 0 star review if it were possible. When it comes to buying MTG cards, I prefer to shop local. I will always tell people to go elsewhere from now on. I went in to find some individual MTG cards and the guy behind the counter wouldn't even make an effort to help. He said he can't sell me anything because boss wasn't there to price. Wouldn't even let me look through all the bulk cards. After I informed him how displeased I was with his service, I left the store and he followed me to my car. In the pouring rain. Extremely unprofessional and unsafe and very creepy.
