Smaller than the el cajon store but good selection of sealed newer stuff. Prices are what they are everywher thereso nothing crazy special with that.otherwiseits cool to see what is in all the comics n stuff stores
Shannon is amazing and helpful! Her knowledge of comics is out of this world! (it should be a super power) Also, lots of cool stuff here! I feel 30 years younger stepping into this store.
Shannon is one of the most rudest people I’ve ever encountered at any store I’ve been to. Went there to buy Pokemon cards with my boyfriend, and saw that she was talking to two gentlemen. We waited until she finished, but we ended up waiting over 30 minutes. We could have just left, but we were really wanting those Pokemon cards. The two gentlemen kept telling her that we needed help. This lady really said “who cares, they can wait.” I whispered to my bf “let’s go, she’s being so mean” and he said “no, we waited this long, I can wait even longer” Mind you, it was already past 7. We were there at 6:30 pm. She kept talking to those guys, and again, they told her “I think you should help them” She looked at us and goes “they’re fine, they don’t matter” A few more minutes pass. The guys leave, and THEN she comes up to us and goes “do you know what you want? We’re already closed” girl… you literally took your sweet time discussing Batman to them for over 30 minutes. We ended up just getting what we wanted, and left. On Thursday (3/13), we went to check it out again. Saw a sign on the door, and we looked in. She was helping a girl, but the door was locked. I asked my bf “oh, it says to call”. The girl and Shannon were walking towards the door so she can let the girl out. She looks at us and says “We are by appointment only, do you have an appointment?” I said “no, I was going to call-“ and she cuts me off. She then says “I can only let you in if you know exactly what you want.” I said “yeah, we wanted-“ Before i could say anything else she cuts me off again and says we are out of Pokemon cards by the way, someone took all of them. So if you need that, then I can’t help you, and if you don’t mind, I need to go back in.” So I said “okay no worries” and we started walking away. And as of 3/24 it’s still by appointment only. Discouraged to go there anymore. I like the main location in El Cajon better.
