There comes a time in every collectors life where they've got to figure out what to do with their collection. Luckily for me I found Mike at Comic Toons N Toys. I had quite the large comic collection (45 short boxes and 25 long boxes). Arranged a time with Mike for him to come to my house and he took the time to go thru each box and find the gems (Spiderman 300, New Mutants 98) from the junk (about 80% of the rest). I felt he gave me an honest and decent offer and didn't feel like he was trying to lowball me. He even offered to buy some old video games I had in storage. So, if you're like me and you're at the point in life where it's time to let go of that precious collection you've had for decades (or the wife is complaining too 😜), I would definitely recommend giving Mike a call.
I’ve been frequenting this shop for 30+ years. Out of the various shops I’ve been to this is consistently my favorite. Once upon a time it was convenient as it was on the way to work. That has not been the case for nearly two decades now. Although there is a closer shop I still prefer Comics TnT. Anyway this shop is bomb 💣 That’s my two cents.
I generally don't write negative reviews, but the amount of disrespect and lack of customer service by Dwigt(actually Gilbert) was pretty horrendous. Their website form submission doesn't work - emailing or texting them as they suggest on their website doesn't work either - no apologies - no thank you for bringing up issues with their website or process. I understand it's a niche business - and maybe they deal with some unreasonable people - but they really need to get their act together.
